NPC Adhoc staff recruitment 2022: The National Population Commission (NPC) invites applications from suitably qualified persons for appointment as Adhoc staff for the period January to June 2022 for the implementation of its six-month program, which will culminate in the celebration of Population Awareness Week 2022.

What is the NPC Staff Recruitment process?

All applicants will be screened based on their experience and qualifications. Candidates who meet or exceed minimum requirements will be invited to a series of interviews with NPC’s management team. These interviews may also include an assessment exercise that is designed to test your knowledge, skills, and personal attributes required for this position. You are encouraged to provide references from previous employment-related experiences that can validate your work ethics and the experiences you have listed in your resume.

Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants must be citizens of Nigeria and between the ages of 18-35 years old, with a minimum qualification of five (5) SSCE subjects including the English Language at Grades 1—3, or equivalent qualification. Applicants must also have excellent written communication skills with previous experience working in an office environment preferred but not required. The ability to communicate effectively using Microsoft Teams would be an asset to this role. Telecommuting will not be permitted at this time but the position can be done remotely with supervision.

What are the main criteria of the recruitment process?

The selection panel will use a combination of factors when deciding whom they wish to hire including but not limited to relevant job-related experiences such as writing press releases or editing articles, prior internship experience in a similar field such as Marketing or Communications, exceptional academic performance in English Language courses and volunteer hours served within any national voluntary organization. All candidates must pass a background check before being hired by NPC; no exceptions will be made for felony convictions related to theft/fraud/embezzlement/identity theft etc., or
